i am just a sucker am i? lol.

the best critique's i have ever received are all in deviantart. yeah, haven't added any new photos to it, but considering the target practice that i promised myself, i should post a couple of pictures in deviantart every month.

check it out:

under angelicfall account and under ronval account.

i think i have a couple of photos that i want to include there. well, i'll think about it.

as usual, work, school and personal life has kept me really busy the last few months. antos lang gamay, is what i would tell myself when i notice myself complaining. it's not that bad anyway.

so yeah, tep and i had talked about a specific project (no, not the project between tep, teray and rebecca). i have so much plans with it and it felt like it is coming along together - about half of these plans started a long time ago. could not really say what the project is right now, i might end up jinxing it.

it was really an awesome that i managed a 31.73 miles per gallon on my car - honda accord ex 2 door (5mt).

For comparison purposes:

when i had the toyota corolla xrs (6mt), my average was: 24.87 miles per gallon.

Prior to this whole gas saving shit, the accord was averaging 26.70

huge fucking difference? yes. my fill up is normally around 12 gallons, so a difference of about 5 miles per gallon means that i get additional 60 miles on my full tank - a good round trip and a half to work.

let's look at the price per mile to see the difference:
say that a full tank is $50 with about 13.5 Gallons. ($3.70/gallon)
at 26.70 mpg, the price per mile is: 0.139 cents / mile
at 31.73 mpg, the price per mile is: 0.117 cents / mile

according to google maps, i travel about 23.9 miles from home to work and 23 miles from work to home--rounding this to 26 miles one way. if a year has 260 work days, my monthly average commute distance is 1,126.67 miles.

based on the cents/mile and monthly commute distance:
@26.70 mpg = $156.60
@31.73 mpg = $131.82

Anyway, my next target is hitting 34mpg and I know I'll be able to hit this by properly mixing the accelleration and gear changes.

oh well, well see.

i have been thinking about getting a diesel ford f250 (sadly they do not offer diesel f150) about 2010 (2 years from now), i know it gulps gasoline like there's no tomorrow. however, somebody has developed something that will replace the diesel to vegetable oil. biodiesel is also even slowly gaining grounds. we'll know what technology will be available in the near future.
