I have been thinking of ways to save a bit more money, and one of the things I considered was my car. I tested changing gears at 2,000RPM, but that almost killed my engine (too low). I tried 2,500RPM, it was okay, but it felt as if the engine is burning more gasoline due to the high gear in low RPM. I tried 3,000RPM, and that seem to work. I went down a little to 2,700RPM and that's working--acceleration is ok and the top speed is decent.

For the next few months, I am going to try not to go over 2,700RPM and try to shoot for 420 miles in a full tank--my last full tank lasted 380 miles which included a few red-lines. It shouldn't be that difficult for 420 miles a full tank.

We'll see how it goes. Gasoline is getting expensive.

In other areas, I have also started turning off my computer--which translates to saving roughly 6kWh of power per day--it is now off for more than 17 hours or 70% than before. I checked our server, but because of the way it is set-up, it is only consuming about 3kWh/day--I am looking into how to make this even smaller.

can't wait for stp this coming june (i think its june).

ok. i'm stuck right now with the paper shit. at least i'm done with today's paper, but i still have something due tomorrow, saturday and monday (yep, crazy ass shit). anyway, i was trying to do one for tomorrow (there's always two due most nights of the week), and it has something to do with bad statistics. i do remember that my sociology professor back when i was in cerritos college commented on this chic's book, which caused so much controversy because her statistics showed that a huge number of percentage of women are unhappy and she wrote about it as if it applies to all women. it was revealed later on that he sample was rich, middle class women who doesn't work. i have to find that because that's all i can think of for this homework. i did a google search on "unhappy women bad statistics" as well as "cheating women bad statistics." none of the results showed me a path to the book, something did caught my attention for a few minutes that made me murmur "stupid." somebody wrote that "cheating is healthy in a relationship," and from reading that, my eyebrows raised to the roof, i sighed, shook my head and murmured, stupid. i'll have to think of another bad statistics by tomorrow if i want this paper done.

anyway, healthwise, i have lost 16 lbs since february 2008, lost about 5% body fat (now 21%), and hydration increased by 7% (now 58%). My target is that, by summer, i need a six pack (i have way smaller stomach now), 18% body fat, 70% hydration, and weight of 125lbs. woohoo, goodluck to me. haha. i have though, already felt the benefits from losing that much weight. i feel better, i sleep better, and i don't get wet 'n wild shit in the morning, i'm not constipated, i felt my blood pressure go down. quite awesome really.
