the weather report
April 1981 had a low temperature of 66.47F (about 19C) with a high of 88F (about 31.5C), the average midday temperature at that time was 73F (or 23C)--quite comfortable in malaybalay.
June 1980 is also really comfortable in cagayan de oro, it's raining, with a high temperature of 82F (about 27.9C) and low of 75F (about 24.3C) with an average midday temperature of 78F (about 25C). Quite nice indeed for cagayan de oro city.

finally it's over, the much hyped 9 months of planning, torturing ourselves and chasing time finally went through. honestlty, we got more than what i expected. in any case, i've kept telling stephanie that rain will not stop the wedding and will not ruin the day ever since we chose falkner and when we visited at that cold spring day.
rants rants rants...
it was really busy during the planning, especially on some days when my finals coincide with appointments. Although I try to schedule around these things, it is very intense. gosh, i remember our trip to fallbrook awhile ago to the cake lady. took me awhile to search for one and the tasting was OK--the cake was a lot better during the wedding! after that appointment, we went and met with the DJ, who amusingly, has a lot of selling skills--which pretty much sold us right away. when he told us about the wedding party introductions, we thought of kuya joey right away with two times!
we had two choices for photographers on the web, one being sarah holden and the other christina (forgot her last name), and we set an appointment with both. we visited sarah holden--and found out that she brings an associate--a really good plus if you are on a budget. so we booked her services, then her husband jeff holden came buy, and presented his videography work, it was really beautiful, but it was pricey. he gave us a five hour digital estimate and we liked the price but wanted to shop around.
later on, we found another videography company and based from the sample, would like to visit to check out their dvd sample. we met fulbie (he's pinoy, he cannot deny noy!) when i watch, i was turned off from the constant shaking of the camera (for the price they are asking, are they using a camera without stabilization?), i told tep i didn't like it and would prefer jeff holden. after a few rounds of checking other people's work, we decided on jeff's services.
two weeks down to the wedding, i wrote my biggest check yet, and a few more others to pay for the rest of the vendors. i try to email and call the dj because he has not responded to any of my emails in regards to "closer" by nine inch nails. on wednesday, sept 19, we finally talked--and i was ready to give my full rage (rarely happens), then he indicates that he was almost finish editing the nine inch nails song. a few hours later he emailed that to us and i was smiling that we are able to have that played as our introduction.
as per our demands, we asked the dj to be on time with announcements and all (we were already behind!) i guess that was the only thing that didn't work out--but i was happy that it did not got delayed for HOURS like other weddings--i think we were delayed by 30 mins?
i am really thankful that rosalynne helped us with the planning, as well as taking over the floor for us to direct any issues that would come across. i am thankful for sheila for doing all the dress retoke as well as a lot of the creative stuff she did for the wedding. mommy's (naks!) decorations were really beautiful and all cause of her creative side.
thank god for technology who helped us with the entire planning and timeline as well as making sure that we won't get overbudget--it was planned well enough that we were able to buy a wedding gift to ourselves... the Nikon D80 dSLR!
which brings me to another thing, my blog is due for a facelift and now that I have a bit more free time, i can redo my blog and create sections (sayang nalang ang bandwidth provided by yahoo) such as an image gallery, a blog, and an articles section--yes, i plan on taking more photos now, yes, i plan on writing again (my own article and other shits anyway).

From the ending of Dragon Ball
performed by: Ushio Hashimoto
Come along, there’s fantasy, love, and mystery;
Don’t hide your youth!
Wanting to have a mystery, and wanting to have an adventure,
Everybody is itching to go!
If you act like an adult and give up,
You won’t ever solve things like a miraculous puzzle!
Just try to live wilder and stronger!
I’ll give you romance!
I’ll give you romance!
If you’ll show me true courage,
I’ll give you romance!
I’ll give you romance!
I’ll give your pounding heart a sparkling, shining dream!
Someday, it’ll be wonderful, and I’m sure it’s beautiful,
Get yourself lost in a jungle of people!
Wanting to have thrills, and wanting to be happy,
For some reason, everybody’s rarin’ to go!
Unless you shout it out the way you imagine,
Your wish won’t make it up to the sky!
Just try to live sexier and prettier!
I’ll give you romance!
I’ll give you romance!
If you’ll show me real tears,
I’ll give you romance!
I’ll give you romance!
I’ll give you love to wrap around your lonesome heart!
I’ll give you romance!
I’ll give you romance!
If you’ll show me true courage,
I’ll give you romance!
I’ll give you romance!
I’ll give your pounding heart a sparkling, shining dream!

ok. i was "tagged," I don't know how, but oh well.
* each player starts with 7 random facts/habits about himself/herself.
* people who are tagged need to explain the 7 random facts/habits about themselves in their blogs.
* then in turn, they need to choose 7 people to tag and list their names at the end of their blogs.
* the player needs to visit their sites too and inform them (say, by leaving a comment) that they have been tagged and that they need to read your (the player?s) blog to find out more about it.
and the answers:
1. i sleep naked. (don't ask, i don't know).
2. i keep journals, buying a new one without finishing the other just for the heck of it... and "widely" distributing my entries online and offline
3. i think of myself as someone who can walk for miles with no break--just recently found out that i can walk only on a flat surface (don't ask me to walk for miles in San Francisco)
4. because of not keeping any extra money, i was forced to beg from someone when I missed Malaybalay City and ended up in Valencia for Php9.00--later on, I gave this dude Php20 when he told me that "he missed his stop and don't have any money left."
5. I love fried green peas
6. I love meat--specifically Country Fried or Sausage (miskang unsa)
7. I married Stephanie on 7/7/07 (how's that for the 7th fact? lol).
the seven people i tagged:
tutay, bin, edge, cowfunk, au, abraham... shet six lang? haha
