This would be my first sensible post in over a month!(maybe it's not sensible, but oh well).

Life has been really hectic. Aside from the fact that I was absurdly affected by two co-workers leaving the team, there's also the family matters that I needed to tend to.

I love my aunt, and I just found out that she was sicked at about the same time her car knocked. She is an on-call anesthesiologist so she badly needed her car since most of the time, she also gets called during the night. I helped her out financially by sending some money over. It wasn't enough, but it helped in some way.

Next thing I know, my mom is on my ass because my aunt wanted a laptop. What can I do? I spent most of my budget for her car. Well, dell has a solution. whatever.

From what it looks like, my family doesn't seem to get the idea that this is my finals week and kept bothering me with their computer issues. To top that off, I have asked my part time job not to call me in these last two weeks - which my boss is really my sister, which, doesn't understand the fact that I am going to school... with my finals.

Aside from that, my brother doesn't seem to realize how badly late I would get in at work because of them taking such a long time getting ready to leave the house. How will they understand?

I was in a state of panic the other night that I couldn't wait for my professor, heather to post a reply on a post she put in. I'm aware that people are in various states of fatigue that sometimes, they miss, but also, in my state of panic about what she wrote, I didn't know if it was for me. So I called the number she provided at around 6PM. She's a really nice lady, and we easily resolve my concern.

last saturday morning, i was offered a free facial by stephanie's coworker (my god, I haven't had once since 1999!). in which of course, I accepted happily. Ahh the taste of vanity.

in other areas of interest, kroq's inland invasion was actually a blast. I noticed that the people were much calmer than the last inland invasion me and stephanie went. jared leto was a daring mofo for climbing the steel bars (you know, the one that holds lights?) at the same time, singing with all his might. It's been awhile that I actually screamed at the top of my lungs singing (more like shouting) without a care when the band Alice in Chains played. Ultimately, I was really fascinated by their new vocals William Duvall and how he kinda looked like lenny kravitz from a distance, zack de la rocha when his faced was zoomed, while his voice was a copy of Layne Staley's. I was really amused by the entire performance. The other highlight of Alice in chains was chester bennington singing man in the box with the group. Wow, no matter how f*cking thin he is, he can still hold up his voice--for this one, he was able to sing the song in its high pitched grandeur.

When Stephanie and I decided to miss guns n roses due to the fact that a possible riot can happen if this group wouldn't showed up. in the huge glen helen hyundai pavillion, we ran across to get to the side of parking. That path were a bunch of missiles flying, such as pee, beer and water filled bottles, cups containing god knows what, and the long hurricane tubes also filled with god knows what. We didn't have a choice but to run.

We arrived at our destination hotel at around 11PM and checked on the live webcast. We saw guns and roses playing on stage. We figured that they were late for 45 mins (on top of the one hour intermission). We discovered later on that they were actually late for 50 mins from their scheduled 10PM set.

I learned a few days later that the band MUSE was preparing themselves back stage for a second set, should guns n roses never show up. I also found out that bon fires were started in the lawn (which the dumbasses confiscated our lighters to prevent such--which they never did).

I wasn't really surprised, I watched the VH1 special years ago about guns n roses, and frankly, it was axl rose who causes these tardiness.

At around 1115, we took a shower and shortly thereafter, from the exhaustion of staying out in the sun as well as screaming our voices out, Steph and I called it a night and slept.

Come Sunday morning, we prepared and took off for Cabazon where I shopped for stuff for my mom. I think I spend like $300 in all for my parents' trip back to the Philippines.

for our project site, mysanctuary.org, I am still developing the web 2.0 version of the site. hopefully I can get it out as soon as possible.

well.. back to work and school stuff. haay.
