I got a good kick this morning.

lol.

I was dropping off my brother Ombet at his work. He told me he was still sleepy and he needed coffee. We decided to drop by Diedrich Coffee.

On our way in, being a guy who wanted to be a gentle-ass, I opened the door for a lady. We went in and waited in line. We ordered our coffee.

The same lady said, "here." and gave me a dollar, with the look of i-don't-know-what-this-is-about she continued, "it's unfair that you opened the door for me and I went ahead of the line."

Me and kuya Ombet laughed at it. We got our order and I told kuya that I felt so insulted.

He looked at it another way, "she might be thinking that you're a kid and was impressed by what you did."

So the conversation went on:
"Yeah, I guess. I should be flattered, right?" was my reply.

"Or she might have been thinking that the coffee's on her?" K.O. continued.

"Naa, let's leave it at the high schooler thing... who smokes."

We just laughed at it and told me to let it go at that instead of feeling insulted.

In such a long time, I never felt like a 12 year old again. haha.
