Read the Quote:
"What?!? You guys NEVER did anything for the two week old ticket? I am a new customer, and I'm supposed to be connected a month and a half ago. After six phone calls and four visits from your tech guys all you tell me is that, NO ACTION have been taken in the ticket because you guys need to FUCKING wait for the customer's call? I've been wanting to have connection a month and a half ago, and all you tell me is that, 'we are going to send someone over to see your lines,' what do you mean? FOUR guys have already came here and checked on them. This is my seventh fucking phone call, and you guys DID NOT do anything in the ticket?"

And that my dear friends are the exact words I used to Charter Communication's Tech Support named Shawn. Although I miscounted when I talked to him, (I made total of Nine Phone calls in less than a month.)

It began...

Let's see, I talked to Chris, and he set up my account. After four days, I talked to Mark, and he set up an appointment eight days later (Saturday, July 31). Two men came, installed the cable line and also installed the modem to my computer. Quote: "We can't leave you the modem, there's something wrong with the line in the main hub, we'll have somebody come back here on Tuesday to check on it." I said, Ok, no problem. Tuesday came, August 3, 2004, no one came. I called and talked to a guy whom I did not document the conversation (I was driving, and I forgot to jot down pertinent info when I had the chance to do so), he said "Oh they had your PHONE NUMBER wrong," so I supplied my phone number. He set me up for an appointment at 8am to 5pm (FUCKED UP sked) the Saturday after, which was the 7th of August.

Saturday came, and I waited. And waited... and waited. I called charter at around 11AM, asking them what happened. Talked to NELSON, asked him about WHY I HAVE installation charges, I was offered the service with a WAIVE in the installation charges, was put on hold for about twenty minutes, he said he talked to his supervisor, they are waiving the installation charges, and giving me a $20 dollar credit.

The dispatch came, and attempted to fix my connection. He said it was OK.

The afternoon kept going and I called them again, this time with a different issue, online billing, I had problems registering. Talked to Anna, and she provided me with info regarding the login sequence.

Sunday, August 8, 2004. Connection is still fucked up. Called company and talked to Marco, a Filipino tech guy. He said that he's gonna have some guys go to our place to check on the connection, appointment was wednesday, august 11, 2004.

STILL NO FUCKING CONNECTION.

Called them again the next day, Thursday, august 12, 2004 (undocumented), told me somebody was coming over to our place on Saturday the 14th. I slept through while the guy fixed the connection.

Still no connection.

I was able to contact them again, on Tuesday the 17th. Talked to Maria, told me she's gonna create a ticket number in which she provided.

Today... see my quote in the beginning of this entry.

Tomorrow, I'm going to call them, and have them transfer directly to the supervisor. At the end of this month, my connection with DSL extreme will cease. :( If the supervisor will tell me that "you still owe us," i will tell them some econ lessons. believe me. I FUCKING WILL.
