today was unusual, i received calls/text/IM about one news. i don't normally receive text messages or calls regarding a single subject in one day. the typical call i would get in a day is from swit, from time to time, i would get calls from mama, john or ate aj and much rarer is kuya ombet, ate neng, kuya jo, sheila, and daryl. for text messages, it's about the same as the calls, but sometimes i would get IM regarding this diet pills (spam), otherwise, it would be the usual hi hello from chatters like maureen or mimie (yes, ga chat nasad mi sahay) or even yakmags (jymer).
today, i got a text from jo and roseanne, a call from silvia, a call from twit, an IM from jeanette and savoeun. bob went around and told me about it, bill didn't care, but still relayed it. arni also sent me a msg through ym about it too.
make a good guess what it is about.
michael jackson.
i, on the other hand, sent messages to a few people about it. lol. talk about redundant information. hahaha. almost always, by the time you tell someone of a hot story, there's a huge chance that they already know! i sent a message to mimie and ros. lol.

okay, for some reason, i just want to rant rant rant. i can't seem to put my head together to concentrate for my school stuff. i love teresa's reaction to the "sample" photos i sent her. i can't wait to finish editing the photos, but i also really need to concentrate on my school since i've brushed this aside for two days now (two days can easily push me behind). so far so good, it looks like i would be able to post the photos by Monday.
rant rant rant. save the world, don't eat beef or pork. just eat chicken so there's less beef fart that causes the ozone to thin out.

i drag my feet out of searching
my soul and mind are breaking
inside a conflict of pain and happiness
to be with the sky and hell
as the anger rages on
the apocalypse is coming
my arms and legs are creaking
in a cry of depression and loneliness
all i do is rot in my shell
and let my thoughts creep on
salvation fast disappearing
my veins and nerves are all tingling
seeking higher ground from the emptiness
done upon the toll of the bell
do you understand me son?
hate is what i feel
from the longing that disappear
hate is what i feel
from the wounds that must heal
hate is what i feel
hate is what i feel
go and listen to my bearing
my temper and blood boiling
i desire for my life to redress
and gather myself as the night fell
and live through the humiliation
i am strong with a meaning
i trek even to the darkest evening
and weave through the tightest tress
let the angels guide me through hell
and let me be at peace with my recollection
hate is what i feel
from the longing that disappear
hate is what i feel
from the wounds that must heal
hate is what i feel
hate is what i feel
i passed through hell
i heard demons sing
i scream when baal chased me
But i fought with angels by my side
i fought hard
i fought with everything i have
i can see myself winning
But it’s a never ending battle

I am so sleepy. Why?
I slept so late. Why?
Considering that I just completed my finals and I was trying to wind down for the next class tomorrow. There’s this game called F.E.A.R. 2. I started playing around 11:30PM and stopped playing at around midnight. Not so bad right? Well, for some reason, the game scared me to death and took me awhile to sleep. I will not play this game at night, AGAIN. Lol. It’s a sort of mix between the exorcist, counterstrike and resident evil.
WARNING: If you are easily scared, stop reading now. You’ve been warned. Spoilers are below too, stop reading if you don’t want to know.

The GAME starts with a premonition, you are a special ops person and your first objective is to extract a director out of a facility. The premonition is a short walk, in which you are following a little girl in a red dress. She fades and you go where she was. She reappears in another area and you keep following her. You then last see her by a deep tunnel in which you fall. You wake up and your superiors (don’t ask me their rankings, I have no idea about those – I think one is a Lieutenant and the other a Sergeant). You and your comrades are talking about the mission. Took me awhile to figure out that my name in the game is Becket. Lol. I went ahead and played it and it was interesting – I think I was sort of war freak because my preferred weapon is a shotgun and if I see those flame thrower guys, I use my submachine gun to shoot their tanks (which explodes and kills him and anyone close to him). The game is too graphic even for me.

On lost:
I used to love the character kate, but now I hate her. They made her character to such a slut. Don't get me wrong, I love evangeline lilly, shes really hot! But her character kate is such a lost woman, very indecisive and had weird reactions to things.
In any case, lost is interesting, but annoyingly confusing. I am able to follow to some extent, but it pisses me off when the story became so spread out. Boohooo
On Disney's California Adventure
Overall experience is very good. I insist on anyone getting the 2fer ticket instead of just for California Adventure. I just wished I had more chances taking both videos and photos (sux that video's battery only lasts 99 mins!).
Alladin is in my top list, they made the musical really well. The genie's lines were also updated with modern references, albeit very funny! Too bad they can't do Abu, but oh well. Carpet was great too, her "lines" were written really well even when she's a carpet who doesn't speak. Grade A
The concept behind Soarin' Over California is very nice. I loved it! They did the simulated "flight" very well that it really felt like you're flying. My complaint? Can't Disney make the video with iMax? It felt so real, but I can see pixellations, which ruined my experience. (sorry, luvd imax/hd). Grade: could have been an A, but because I was disappointed with the video, so I'm making it B.
California Screamin' is fast, but not too fast to make it last less. I love the weightlessness feel, but I wish the loop was not on the inside, but rather to the outside - where you'll feel less g force pushing you down and gives you more weightlessness feel Otherwise, the entire coaster was awesome. I am giving it a B+.
I gotta say though that for a "kiddie" ride, Mulholland Madness is pretty awesome. No loops, but the feeling of being suspended in the air is enough for me to get a high from adrenaline. If you ask me, it's an A, because it surpassed my expectation for a "kiddie" ride along with teapot thing in Disneyland.
The food? Its an F. Aside from the jawbreaking prices, the food could not compare to those burgers priced at 80% less Lesson? No lessons, the food at theme parks will always be expensive and you can't do anything about that but complain. If you "baon" though, your food will be cold (i don't like cold lunches btw). I recommend eating a big breakfast from McDo or JitB before going in. Downside to this is that my stomach gets messed up when I eat in the morning. Lol.
Random thought:
I gotta learn Adobe Premiere.

i know i am not as vigilant on the updates on this blog as i used to before. i know it's been ages since i have posted somwthing on my personal opinion. yesterday, we celebrated my wife's birthday at the "happiest place on earth," the photo attached is my attempt to create a higher resolution photo. the photo is in a total of 27.3 megapixels (and it will take some time to download due to its sheer size even at 50% JPEG quality). my next goal is to make a 1.5 gigapixel photo - this though, remains a question of whether my desktop can handle that or not (it's about 13.5GB). i have yet to find out.

so far, so good, life is going well, aside from the fact that my head started to suddenly appear some bald spots - most likely due to stress (fuck, and i thought that was not real).
in the past several weeks, we've shot a couple of kids, a male model, a pregnant woman, and in the other times, a wedding and a baptismal.

kids above - victor and hector in our "studio."
oh well, i will have more photos to publish and showcase. currently, i am working on the pregnant shoots, tep's birthday images, and LACMA. I am also trying to revisi images I took that I have never published - mostly from experiments on the settings. well, i am about to pass out - i am drunk like hell.

On the telephone
On the telephone
Look at me
Look at me
Just called to say that it's good to be
ALIVE
In such a small world
All curled up with a book to read
I can make money open up a thrift store
I can make a living off a magazine
I can design an engine sixty four
Miles to a gallon of gasoline
I can make new antibiotics
I can make computers survive aquatic conditions
I know how to run a business
And I can make you wanna buy a product
Movers shakers and producers
Me and my friends understand the future
I see the strings that control the systems
I can do anything with no assistance
I can lead a nation with a microphone
With a microphone
With a microphone
I can split the atoms of a molecule
Of a molecule
Of a molecule"
